Getting Around the City
Official Airport Taxis
Upon exiting the airport, use authorized taxis with visible markings and proper identification. We recommend confirming the fare before boarding.
Uber
Apps like Uber are not permitted to pick up passengers directly at the airport. However, you can walk to a nearby point outside the airport to request a ride. These services operate well throughout Mérida.
Weather
January in Mérida is warm and sunny, with average temperatures ranging from 65°F to 88°F (18°C to 31°C). We recommend bringing light, comfortable clothing, as well as a swimsuit, sunscreen, and insect repellent to fully enjoy outdoor activities and the pool area.
